Shipping, leather, and the warranty.
These are the questions I actually get asked, answered in my own words, with the full policies linked at the end.

01Shipping
It ships worldwide.
I ship worldwide from Delta, British Columbia, and I will not promise a delivery date I do not control.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Yes. I ship worldwide. Every parcel is made and packed here in Delta, British Columbia.
Can you guarantee a delivery date?
No. I can’t predict carrier performance, and I’m not liable for holiday backlogs, weather or strikes.
What if my parcel is lost?
If it was tracked, insured and the purchase is verified, I replace it free. Not if the address was wrong, or if it went missing after delivery was confirmed.
What if I got my address wrong?
A parcel sent to an incorrect address can’t be recovered, and I can’t replace it. Check it before you order.
02Leather
Full-grain. Vegetable-tanned. Stitched by hand.
Belts and sheaths are cut from 9–10 oz full-grain vegetable-tanned hide and saddle-stitched by hand.
What leather do you use?
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned hide for belts and sheaths, cut at 9–10 oz.
How will it age?
It darkens and softens with light and use. Vegetable-tanned leather takes one of the best patinas of any material. That change is the point, not a fault.
How long does it last?
I wore the same belt every day for seven years.
What if it gets wet?
Let it dry on its own. Don’t scratch or stretch it while it’s damp. The colour and feel come back.
How should I care for it?
Keep it dry and feed it a neutral leather conditioner about once a year. Nothing else is needed.

03Policies
Lifetime warranty. No refunds.
Every piece I make is covered for life, repaired or replaced free, and I don’t give refunds for change of mind.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Any broken or damaged piece I made, repaired or replaced free of charge. Send photos of the damage and proof of purchase. Deliberate damage isn’t covered.
How do I send something back?
Email [email protected] and I’ll send you a return address.
Do you give refunds?
Not for a change of mind, for a piece that has been used, or for ordinary ageing. The lifetime warranty covers you instead. If it fails, I fix it, for as long as you own it.
There are two exceptions. I refund an order I decline or cancel before it is dispatched, and a piece that arrives damaged or supplied wrongly and can be neither repaired nor replaced. Both are set out in the returns and warranty policy.
Do you take commissions?
Yes. Email what you have in mind and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can make it. Belts can vary in colour, tooling and design.
I don’t make bags. Not enough leather, and not enough hours.
Are reviews moderated?
Every review and comment is read by hand before it appears.
