Description

A 30 mm leather belt, cut from one strap of 9–10 oz full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, dark brown. Eight waist sizes, 24–26 through 38–40 inches, measured with the buckle on.

Choosing a size

Sizes run 24–26, 26–28, 28–30, 30–32, 32–34, 34–36, 36–38 and 38–40 inches, measured with the buckle on. Measure a pair of trousers that fits you now rather than your waist. If you fall between two ranges, email me before ordering and I will tell you which to take.

How I make each handmade leather belt

I cut every strap, set the copper rivet that holds the buckle and the loop, and saddle-stitch the belt by hand.

Caring for vegetable-tanned leather

Vegetable-tanned leather darkens and softens with light and use; that change is the point, not a fault. Keep it dry and feed it a neutral leather conditioner about once a year. If it gets wet, let it dry on its own and do not scratch or stretch it while damp.

Warranty and shipping

Every belt carries a lifetime warranty: if the stitching, the leather or the rivet fails structurally in normal use, I repair or replace it free for as long as you own it. Photographs and proof of purchase are required, and you cover postage to me while I cover the return. Refunds are not offered for change of mind, for a belt that has been worn, or for ordinary ageing; the narrow cases where a refund does apply are set out in the returns and warranty terms.

Questions

Which waist size should I order?

Match the range to trousers that fit you now. Between two ranges, email me first.

Can the buckle be changed later?

No. It is riveted permanently in copper. Choose the finish before ordering.

Is the leather stiff at first?

At 9–10 oz it starts firm and softens with wear, as vegetable-tanned leather does.

Is it waterproof?

No. Leather is not waterproof, and water resistance has not been tested.

Where is it made?

What if it fails?

Email photographs of the damage with your order number. I repair or replace it free under the lifetime warranty.
